  8.      SysLog is a simple program to to let you keep track of when a Macintosh has started up, shutdown or
  9.      crashed.  You might find this information useful for:

  11.      ･ﾊfinding out if someone has been using a computer when they werenﾕt  supposed to be
  12.      ･ﾊfiguring out how often a computer gets used
  13.      ･ﾊletting you know if a computer has been shutdown improperly
  14.      ･ﾊtroubleshooting (since you can know how often a particular computer has been crashing )
  15.      ･ﾊloads of other things

  32. To install SysLog, simply drop SysLog in the "Startup Items" folder in the "System Folder."  Once installed, 
  33. SysLog records the date and time the computer was last restarted or shutdown.  SysLog also reports wether 
  34. the system has crashed or was shutdown improperly.

  36. SysLog writes all this information to a file named "System Log" located in the System folder.  "System Log"
  37. is an ordinary TEXT file that may be opened with Simple Text.
