About SysLog
SysLog is a simple program to to let you keep track of when a Macintosh has started up, shutdown or
crashed. You might find this information useful for:
・ハfinding out if someone has been using a computer when they werenユt supposed to be
・ハfiguring out how often a computer gets used
・ハletting you know if a computer has been shutdown improperly
・ハtroubleshooting (since you can know how often a particular computer has been crashing )
・ハloads of other things

User Guide
To install SysLog, simply drop SysLog in the "Startup Items" folder in the "System Folder." Once installed,
SysLog records the date and time the computer was last restarted or shutdown. SysLog also reports wether
the system has crashed or was shutdown improperly.
SysLog writes all this information to a file named "System Log" located in the System folder. "System Log"
is an ordinary TEXT file that may be opened with Simple Text.
